Susan Graf Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

OBITUARY Susan Marie Graf was born on February 3, 1951, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Herbert and Doris (Jungbauer) Krasky. She graduated Central High School in St. Paul, MN in the Class of 1969. She was united in marriage to Alan Graf on April 25, 1969 at the St. Paul Catholic Cathedral. To this union two sons were born John and Ken and together they raised their family in Cottage Grove, MN. Susan and Alan moved to Alexandria in July of 1998 and have lived in near Glenwood, MN for the last eight years. Susan stayed at home and looked after her boys. She kept a close watch on all of them making sure every need was taken care of for them. She was a great cook and liked to bake. She played computer games, watched movies and loved to play poker. Susan liked to be outside and helped mow lawns for A.J. Graf Lawn Care. She enjoyed fishing with Alan and frequent casino trips to play KENO. Susan was a wonderful mother who loved spending time and talking with her family. She was a loving woman who taught her husband and two boys how to Love. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Susan M. Graf died on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Brainerd, MN at the age of 60 years old. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Alan Graf of Glenwood; sons John (Kristi) Graf of Glenwood, Ken (Niki) Graf of Prescott, WI; parents Herbert and Doris Krasky of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Katie and Taylor Graf of Prescott, WI; sisters Marge Temple of Pine Island, MN, Genny (Darren) Smith of Zumbrota, MN; brothers Jack (Mary) Krasky of Brainerd, MN, Bill Krasky of Las Vegas, NV, Tom Krasky of River Falls, WI, Ken Krasky of Glenwood; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. A Memorial Mass was held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Alexandria with the Reverend Steve Binsfeld officiating.
