Donald Hall Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Age 75 of Garfield, MN. On July 6, 2012 Don passed peacefully to his heavenly home after being diagnosed in April with pancreatic & liver cancer. Born June 10, 1937 in Lakeville, MN, long-time (42 years) resident of Farmington, MN and for the last ten years resided at a lake home near Garfield, MN. Beloved husband of Alene Hall, father of Brian (Maureen) Hall, Steve (Tina LaChappelle) Hall and Karlene Hall, grandfather to loving grandchildren, Lauren, Charley, Cody and Austen; brother of Gary (Pat) Hall, Marlys (Phil Klegseth) Hall, Dale (Carmen) Hall and a friend to all he met. Proud member of the Oil-Chemical-Atomic Workers Union (OCAW 6-662, AFL-CIO), the Farmington Volunteer Fire Dept., MN National Guard and Sons of Norway. Don was a caring, generous man and will be dearly missed by family and friends. Visitation Tuesday, July 10 from 4-8:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 920 CTY Rd 44 NW, Alexandria, MN 56308. Funeral Wednesday, July 11 at 11:00 AM Grace Lutheran Church, 205 Central Ave N, Brandon, MN 56315. Don will return to his birthplace for a memorial service on Saturday, July 14 at 11:00 AM Christiania Lutheran Church, 26691 Pillsbury Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044.
